THE GOAL OF THE BEACON

The goal of the Beacon Program at Saint Martin de Porres is to establish “safe havens” for community residents (children, youth & adults) through a continuum of after school youth development & family support activities services that will engage children, while providing support to their families and other community residents.
 

MISSION

To advance community safety and improve academic, health and safety outcomes for children and families.

PROGRAMS

• Comprehensive after school program for children grades K through 6^th.
  Youth leadership/youth development for children grades 4^th through 12^th.
  Family support programs for parents and other adult community residents.

ACTIVITIES

The Beacon Program offers a wide-array of activities designed to enrich children and families through academic enrichment, social & cultural arts.
